Educating yourself about how the economy works is difficult. A constant theme of this website is that economics and finance theory are broken. Individual economists may do useful research and say intelligent things, but the vast majority of what economists write is misleading or wrong. They are experts in a fantasy world of their own creation, but few are much concerned about the real world. If they are most lack the tools to understand and explain it to ordinary people. This section is intended to help you educate yourself about real-world economics, or, as I prefer to say, political economy. For high school and university students, I include a curriculum guide to help you choose useful courses. For everyone else, I include lists of websites, books and movies that will help you learn. Of course, read my blogs, especially those in the political economy section.
